# Relay prototype

> A personal project by Mayank Saini. Share technical work while keeping its source, history and access rules intact.

## What Mayank built

The interactive product mockup, reader and source views, sharing and developer-access flows, responsive layouts and the 52-second launch film. The design brings artifact reading, source inspection, version history and access decisions together.

## What is still underway

Rendering and security packages and an isolated renderer are in the repository. Backend implementation exists, but the complete production platform is not released. Sign-in, sharing and agent connections shown in the film are simulated.

## Engineering decisions

- Preserve immutable versions and tie source, rendered output and provenance together.
- Keep ownership with the author. Sharing grants viewing/commenting, not editing or ownership transfer.
- Four designed access modes: Private, Named people, Link + password, Public. Creation starts private; publishing is a separate action.
- Separate human sessions, interactive CLI grants and automation credentials, with bounded permissions and revocation paths.
- Render arbitrary HTML on a credential-free isolated origin with a sandbox and restrictive content policy; display source as escaped text.

The portfolio reader and access-mode controls use synthetic fixtures. They illustrate the design, do not accept uploads, do not execute arbitrary HTML and do not publish or grant access to documents. The private implementation repository is not shared by this portfolio.
